The Etne River
The Etne River offers exclusive salmon and sea-trout fishing in one of the best Norwegian Rivers. The Etne river runs through beatiful surroundings and is definatley worth a visit.
Every year, the river gives us great catches. Over the past years we have witnessed catching salmons from 10-15 kg. However, the normal size ranges from between 2 and 7kg. Average weight per salmon is 3,5kg!
Fishing Season and practical information
The fishing season starts off July 1 and lasts till Sept 10. Fishing licenses start at 18:00 and lasts 24 hours. Two rods for each zone. Many of the zones are very popular and great for fly fishing.

1 hour drive east from Haugesund Airport. We suggest you use Ryanair from London Stansted if you come from the UK.
Car Rental
If you wish to travel around in the region, drive up into the mountains etc. we recommend that you rent a car. Alternatively, Etne is served by several buses. Corresponding buses operate between Haugesund and Etne.
