The Sauda Ski Center is one of Southwestern Norway’s largest ski trail and terrain park , with lifts and many fine downhill trails, a separate childrenâ´s area, apres-ski, a snowboard park, and much more.
The Sauda Fjord hotel, which was established in 1914, is located deep in the heart of the Ryfylke fjord region of Rogaland.
Situated in an idyllic setting on the Sauda fjord - the hotel is surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls.
Sauda Fjord Hotel was established in 1914 by the Stavanger Tourist Association. It went by the name of Sauda Turisthotell (The Sauda Tourist Hotel), and its customers were wealthy tourists from the Continent, who came to Sauda and the Ryfylke region for recreation and salmon fishing. Many visitors who came from Europe traveled by boat; and there were regular connections to and from places like Rotterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Newcastle, Bergen and Stavanger. The Stavanger Tourist Association sold the hotel to the Sauda Smelting Works, and since then Sauda Fjord Hotel has been managed by various hotel directors.
The hotel offers 24 double rooms and 11 singles.
Standard: All of our rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with shower/WC, radio and TV.
Some of the rooms also have bathtubs.
Nine of the double rooms have alcoves or sitting rooms.
