You put on the skies immediately outside the apartment, and ski down to the bottom station (takes you 1-2 minutes) and whenever you like, you drop in, to your living place on the way down for a new ride.

-only a few steps from Hardangervidda with heavy mountains at 1700m over sea level, only 6 hours skiing away. You can reach mountains at 1400-1650 m in 4 hours (if you are a good skier of course. If you are not, you can do training in well preparated tracks just outside your cabin.
Stay in a cabin by the slopes in the middle of Haukeli Mountain.

About Haukelifjell
Winter at Haukelifjell is beautiful and wild, with everything from spectacular mountains to smooth and quiet beach valleys. Haukelifjell is just 3 hours drive from the Haugesund Airport and is located 90 km from Morgedal; the real cradle of modern skiing, where Sondre Norheim developed modern skiing, some 150 years ago.
The possibilities for going cross country in the variety of own tracks or machine made tracks are wide; it is just up to your own decision to select. You can go downhill in the different slopes in Haukelifjell Ski Centre, situated just outside your cabin.
There are 3 lifts and 1 additional children/beginner band (80m long) where training can be done under good conditions.
Where you can I stay?
We can offer several different living possibilities. Mainly in nice small log apartments, as well as small log cabins, where you find 6-12 sleeping beds.
All accommodations are new (0-2 years old), and are equipped with modern furniture, dish washing machines, cable-TV, sauna and fireplace. You will have an amazing view to the mountain landscape in the south and west directions.
