Situated just north of the town of Haugesund, approximately half-way between Bergen and Stavanger, Hagland Sea Chalets are built to the highest standards and contain all form of modern conveniences, luxury and amenities.

Easily accessible activities include fishing, bathing, horse-riding, hiking, and open-farm visits which combined with the idyllic natural surroundings of the Norwegian landscape create a holiday that will linger in your memory.

The chalets have great view over the ocean & lies in beautiful western-norwegian landscape.

The cabins are built on enormous coastal sites, with lots of space in all directions. The area consists mostly of heather and bare rock-face.

With various weather- and wind conditions, this gives you a fascinating experience with variations from calm sea and sunset into the ocean, to stormy weather with churning waters and salty sea splashing on the windows.

The cabins are built on the outlaying fields of the farm Hagland and great emphasis has been put on the architecture and internal design. The area used to be a german fortress during the WW 2, and there are still some remains of bunkers and foundation walls. However, today most of them are covered by grass and visited by sheep.

We can offer a wide variety of activities such as hiking, kayaking/canooing, fishing, sea rafting, rock climbing, horseriding and farming. The ocean is rich on fish, crabs, mussels and other delicatessen as well as seaweed and tangle. Bergen is 3 hours drive north of Haugesund, Stavanger is 2 hours south.
